The glass does seem more susceptible to scratches than my previous iPhone 4, hence buying one of these within a few weeks. No sign of any scratches on the protector as yet.

The protector saved the phone when 8Kg+ of monitor fell vertically on my phone when the clamp wasn't secured properly on a pole stand at work. It took a chip out of the edge and there's a 5mm long hairline crack which hasn't spread as yet. I'll buy the same one again to replace it if necessary.

I keep my keys in the same pocket as my phone, so I have a screen protector to avoid any scratch marks directly on the screen, you might ask, "Why not keep them in a separate pocket", but there's only one pocket with a zip in my jacket.

Ordered a case Amazon logistics has it out for delivery today but as yet no show?

I've not read good things about their service, wonder if it will arrive tomorrow

Bricking it that I'm going to drop it :(

Thats what I thought, saves me porting out and in for a uswitch deal and they wanted £69.99 upfront and £35 a month x 24

Any case recommendations that cover the whole front surround, not just the sides ...?

gone for one of these, had one on my IP5s and it's lasted well

Thanks for the link, really good looking slim case, have ordered the clear one.

Definitely, I've had mine a week and there is a little scratch at the top of the glass, no idea how, maybe 2 minutes accidentally in the same pocket as my keys. Shame as my 4 is still unscratched without a screen protector for 3 years!

This case is good but it's soft and flexible around the edges, anyone got a good case that's hard and clips to the edges?

Thanks

My glass Anker screen protector arrived, fitting was easy but I'm not happy at the fact it doesn't curve with the screen at the edges, sure it give great protection but not when it doesn't adhere to the screen all the way round, I may have to get a refund and keep looking, I prefer something that you can't really notice once installed :(

If you find one that does curve, give me a shout. I would be a nightmare to manufacture I expect - I couldn't find one. I've got a case with a raised lip that effectively protects the curved edges. No sign of damage in that area from when the monitor fell on the phone.

@iMacMart, I had the same issue it drove me insane and I ended up removing it. I brought the Anker "full" coverage ones too, and they don't actual curve, they just go to the edges and hang over a tad so its just as bad, right now my phone has no protector.

I'm struggling to find a good case for my 6 gents, the genuine Apple silicone one is perfect but the bottom of the handset is unprotected :(

Any other good cases please?

I'm using the otterbox symmetry case, as well as the official apple leather black case when the mood warrants it. The case has excellent support at the bottom and sides.

It also has a lip around the top, so I am also using the otterbox alpha glass screen to protect the screen itself. Both excellent pieces of kit to protect my iPhone 6.

Tried to peal it off and it cracked ...

Waste of my money

This happened too mine when I tried to rip it off, I didn't care as it was going into the trash either way. My experience up till now with tempered glass protectors has been amazing, I was able to reposition the on my Nexus 5 4 times and it was still perfect.

I just went with the Apple leather one, bottom is also not protected but oh well.

Girlfriend just bought a gold 128GB 6plus on ebay, brand new sealed in box.

It's locked to Vodafone, she is on sim only with 3 on her iPhone 5. Any way of her unlocking it remotely or does she have to take it to one of those unlocking shops?

I'd say provider unlock only

Agreed. Apple unlock iPhones via the central authentication servers. Request has to be submitted via the network who provided the handset. I doubt Vodafone will process an unlock for anyone other than the original registered owner.

Essentially it's stuck on Vodafone.

Not true. You should still be able to have it unlocked, just the need the IMEI. They charge £20 if it was on PAYG or on contract for less than a year.
