With the latest update, my battery on the 6 seems to be draining faster. I updated OTA, anyone else had a similar problem?
My iPhone 5 is getting a little busted, so I was tempted to pull the trigger the 64GB iPhone 6, but the current contract prices seem high.
In the end, dropped my contract with 3 to sim only for £15 a month, now just need to buy the phone outright... much cheaper this way.
I've got a knackered 4s I've had since September 2012 that's starting to suffer battery issues, so I find myself contemplating getting an iPhone 6. However, for the 64GB model, you're talking roughly £50 or so a month over two years if you want no upfront cost, so that's £1200 or more, twice what the phone costs. I can get £55 trade in on my old 4s at an Apple Store, bringing the cost down to £564.
I'd rather do that, then go for a SIM-only contract.
How do you guys go about insuring your iPhones?
I'm thinking of swapping my Lloyds current account for a Santander 123, but will loose the mobile phone cover that Lloyds provide (with iPhone excess of £100). Is my best bet going with Applecare+ for 2 years for £79 (with excess £55)?
Should I pick up an iPhone 6?
I suppose the reason for my uber interesting postis the screen of the 6 more resilient than the previous models?
