For me, its not the price or the OS that stops me from buying the iPad pro - the OS is more then enough - its simply that it -needs- to replace my Macbook and the applications are simply not there to enable me to do that. All I've seen so far are applications that would work on any other iPad, used in ways that were possible on all the other previous iPads and for that reason unless I want the bigger screen I simply might as well buy a smaller cheaper iPad.
Okay, so the pencil and the precision thing is nice for a graphics professional, but even then I reckon they would prefer a desktop and graphics tablet.
