The standard iPad is already too big for a pocket. Unless you've got a small manbag, the iPad Pro should still fit in your current bag.

How does the surface compare to the iPad pro? Tbh I know little to nothing about how capable the surface is.

it had a rough launch but the 2 pro onwards are awesome units. they ditched the rt versions of them after understanding that people want machines of this calibre (well speced touch devices with optional keyboards) to do more than run some ****** apps their phones or other tablets can.

win 10 managed to tweak a lot of stuff and the new programs built around win 10 (coral painter, adobe suite etc) have already been well reviewed by people that need this stuff to be able to make a living.

i just dont get what apple are trying to do and why they didnt release the pro with the standard os on it, allowing people to install software they know works instead of custom made apps that are made to look godlike in previews but are complete turd in real world uses.
