Same position as you. I don't think I had reservations in history on previous launch events, I kept the emails just in case.

Doesn't show up in "my reservations", just use the email, suggest taking a print out if you can too but its not necessary

Nah just an email, when you go on the day they just ask for your name and they have a list on an iPad and sign you off and reconfirm your order.

Thanks guys. I did call the Apple Store and check with them and the guy said they can't see reservations on their system yet, but an email means it's guaranteed.

Now I have to decide between Gold and Grey. Gold with a Saddle Brown leather case sounds like a nice change in honesty...

Literally just had a notification from my bank saying my 6 plus payment has been fully taken. Therefore it's shipped or enroute?

I'm guessing store reservations were a 12th Sept/limited stock thing? As when I look it says you can't reserve until the 26th?

This model is currently unavailable for in-store pickup.

Reservations will be available from 6:00 am on 26 September.
Please come back then to make a reservation, or shop online now.

Can't select shops or anything, so guessing they have locked it until post release date for new pickup orders.

Last year they reset the stock counter for store reservation at around midnight each night, once they knew what new stock had been delivered that day and what phones hadn't been collected so could be put back into inventory.

Yeah, the couriers all get told that to keep them until the day of release. And Apple aren't the sort of customer you want to lose

8 phones from Apple and they've always turned up on the day

The only exception I've ever had to this was the original iPad, which turned up a day before the official release I believe.

My 6S 64 space grey (ordered on Saturday around noon) shows as 'Preparing for Shipment' now, so that is reassuring. I didn't order the case until Monday morning, that's been shipped already.

I have ordered a Sim Only deal with three, 2Gbytes/200mins/UL texts for £11 per month, when it arrives I can say goodbye to Virgin Mobile, if they want me back they'll have to offer 4G.

Is there no chance of these turning up a day early? I just realised I am due to fly out to Amsterdam on the 25th and its too early a flight to wait for the delivery... I will be taunted by thinking a brand new iPhone is waiting for me at home until I get back on the 30th.

same here, flying out at 12:30 , so will be a quick pickup at 08:15 reservation window, then off to the airport

I'm planning to get a Silicone apple case. Not keen on how the leather one looks with all the colour worn away on the sides.

I think I will go for a leather, possible that dark blue one. I have the iPhone 5 at the moment, and plan to keep the 6s for the same amount of time, so its probably a good idea to have at least some sort of scratch protection on this, given the state of my current phone!

Silicone case should do the job. Adds more grip & keeps the camera flush.

Personally I found the leather case was grippier when I tested them in shop this time last year. Went in with the intention of getting silicon, but wasn't impressed with it at all, really like the Apple leather ones though. My black one seems to have held up well, but my mates red one looks pretty grotty at this point from a lot of use.

There is nothing new in that article but I like the way it's written. I'm absolutely seething at Apple's decision to stick with 16GB. 32GB is the sweet spot for me.
