Haha, so I was on my iPhone 5 on the weekend and thought to myself..

"You know what, there isn't really that much wrong with this phone. Case is a bit messed up, battery is a bit poor (just carry a spare charger on me), and camera isn't great... but its still fine when you think about it."

Why have I just spend £619 on a new one? haha.

Still keeping the 6s of course. :P

Am I missing something or are all the tariffs significantly more expensive than just buying the handset unlocked from Apple and picking a SIM-only plan? It would be nice if Apple offered their pay monthly for the phone plan over here.

My iPhone 5 32gb is getting a bit long in the tooth now, so I'm pretty much sold on the idea of a 6S.

I also noticed this with o2. When i got my 5 64gb it was £350 for the phone on a £26 p/m contract. Now o2 want £729 for a 64gb 6s (which is 110 more than buying direct from apple!) on every contract upto £35/40 p/m. Ended up buying direct from apple and by renwing my sim only im saving a couple of quid a month vs my old plan whilst getting MORE data.

Long story short, by NOT taking out an iphone contract I'm getting the exact same service and over two years it should work out ~£350 cheaper ... madness!

My 6s+ order has been pushed back to Saturday 3rd due to EE **** up.. I'm not a happy bunny..

Just out of interest I have pre-ordered with EE, are you upgrading or is it a new contract? How did you find out it has been pushed back?

Can't decide which to get.
5" screen seemed the sweet point from trying Android handsets, so not sure whether to go slightly bigger or smaller!
Current 5s I really find cramped, but it does pocket easily....

Bowwow someones IP6 / 6S or go into apple and try one. The screen on the 6 is bigger and easier to use but te size is obviously bigger too, making it different to use how you would use a 5s or 5.

I am half tempted to go back to a 5S from my 6 but the battery is better and also has a better battery

Just had a look on there, that's madness. You pay MORE for the phone upfont, then you pay MORE for LESS allowances in your contract that just getting a sim only.

I do not know what O2 are smoking with that.

So, I think my preorder has been cancelled because seemingly you can't correct payment errors (Apple let me use the same gift card twice in my rush to preorder) after ordering and after 4 calls to the dimwits in Apple support I'm none the wiser as to the issue preventing them taking money from me.

3-4 weeks it is then.

iPhone 6 is as big as a 5" Android phone, the plus is bigger then then Note 5. I would go with the 6.

Someone in US got their phone early and posted the Geekbench scores. 2292 single-core and 4293 multi-core. For reference, iP6 is 1609/2879 and iPad Air 2 is 1808/4526 respectively. Confirmed 2GB RAM and dual core @ 1.8GHz (iP6 is 1.4GHz, iPad Air 2 is 1.5GHz)

Thanks for that.
I am erring towards the standard 6s too. I like the screen size but as a phone to carry I think it will annoy me.
Spec wise I think I only miss out on the OIS for the camera, and doesn't the + version have a landscape mode when at the home screen?

Ordered a 6s plus online, and its still showing 3-4 weeks for delivery... Half tempted to make my way to the Trafford Centre on Friday morning and chancing it! Got the day off work anyway due to rotas, so no loss to me...
