iPhone Case

I have the Power Support Crystal Film which you can see in the pictures I've posted, that is if you look hard enough :p

The crystal film is excellent, doesn't make any difference to the screen's sensitivity and feels like the iPhone's glass cover. Also it fits perfectly with the Incase Slider case as it just fits inside where the case doesn't offer protection :)

May I ask where you got the case and film from mate.

I got the crystal film from the Apple Store too :)

They give you two as you mess up putting the first one one...

I messed up the first one :o

The first time I applied it, there was no dust or anything else but it wasn't aligned properly to my satisfaction :(

The best way to apply these crystal films is to clean the glass cover first and put "invisible tape" (doesn't leave any residue when taken off) all over the screen to take off the dust. Then try and eliminate air bubbles and pull the "invisible tape" off without touching the screen. Finally, peel part of the crystal film's backing (doing it this way avoids dust and finger prints better), align it onto the iPhone's screen and gradually pushing the film onto the screen while peeling the remaining backing off :p

umm... they gave you two in the package but one for the back and one for the front :p

That's for the iPod Touch, you receive two for the front with the crystal film set for the iPhone :p

I messed up the first one too. It just wasn't perfect and I figured with the iPhone it's either perfect or nothing.

I like them though, no more smudges and fingerprints.

They crease very easily though if you bend them lengthways not width ways so be warned.

And mini woot, enough posts for members market now.

Ripper, any chance you could take pics of the marks on your iphone that the incase slider caused?

Cheers

I can't mate as the phone is all boxed up ready to be posted. However they really aren't noticable and I don't think they'd show up from a photo. Basically, on the back of the phone where it curves is where the case presses up against the phone, and there's like a pressure mark runnin along it. Don't really know how to describe it really.

I'm thinking it perhaps "polished" the metal abit so it lost its matte look?

You know if its a common thing with them cases?

Think i'll be buying a black on anyway :)

I'm living on the edge, no case here. Though, I'm thinking of getting matching Foofs for my MBP & iPhone... Damn you lot for making me spend money :p
