This might just be placebo at work, but it feels like the iPhone is rendering pages quicker than the touch does. Like I say, might be in my head.

Know about all these from my touch, more after stuff just for the iPhone.

How do I stop it from vibrating when I get an email?

I havnt come across an app that disables the vibration when you receive an email, only come across SMSNotify which give you short vibrate reminders every 15 secs for SMS.

There is some settings you could adjust in customize under vibration near the bottom, but i think its a overall control for vibation, worth a try though.

SSH into the phone and save the sms.db file.

It can be found at private/var/mobile/library/sms/

I'm off out to purchase my iphone in an hour or so and i was just wondering if you can pay with a normal bank card or does it have to be a credit card?

Right i've just come back from town adter buying my iphone

The only problem is that i couldn't be bothered waiting in the 02 shop so i went to Carphone Warehouse instead.

They made me sign an agreement and i'm just wondering what will happen if i jailbreak my phone?

Will they be able to charge me or shut down my phone? :mad:

Argh Carphone Warehouse suckkk.... should have got it from O2 tbh they have a better returns policy.

Don't worry they made me fill in loads of stuff, just related to when you return your phone etc

Doubt they will charge unless you signed up for insurance, don't think they have the power to turn your phone off
