I didn't used to mind the notch too much while I had an iphone XS and the whole phone looked modern to me. A few months ago I moved to a different phone and my wife kept her XS and I suddenly noticed the other day how thick the bezels seem now and how big the notch is. Apple really need to move the design on for the 12.
Yeah they're chunky. Even my friends Note, think it's the penultimate one, looks light years ahead of the 11 Pro

I presume they will once the technology is there to allow it.
Not really comparable since the Note is missing Face ID.
I was referring the the bezels. I’m fine with it but would nice nicer it thru got it closer to the edge
I bought a cheap case on amazon that says it fits the 7/8/SE.
while I wait for the totallee case that I want to come into stock.

I’m using the XR after using the IPhone 11 Pro for a few months, looking forward to it fitting inside my motorbike jacket for once

Just sold my Xs which has paid for the SE so happy days ! (Was gonna go red, but went 128gb black instead) Xs I just sold is 64gb too. So upped to double the storage

I sold it to a friend for £400. And got the SE for £390(less vat). I think Apple were offering £300 or something for the Xs, so decided against it.
the case I ordered was £5.99 or something, but it’ll have to do for now til the case I want is in stock at amazon.

I bought one for my Mum to replace her ancient 5C - gmail stopped working on it a couple of weeks ago, so it is long out of support. Should be a big step up and keep her up to date for a few more years yet, at a reasonable price.

Amazed people are selling their Xs phones for this. I have the small size Xs and it's a great phone, couldn't move away from full screen, oled, two cams, and face id now....the a12 is still awesome and will be for years
This se will see me through till the 12S or 13.
don’t think I’m interested in the 12 in September (rumour is that the cheaper, smaller 12 might not have the flat edges like the two bigger screened 12’s will have) which is a shame because the flat edges like the old iPhones (4+5) and the new iPad Pro’s look great.

First internal part tear downs are coming in.
New camera module with same connector as iPhone 8 (tried an 8 camera and the phone rejected it so it’s for sure a new part)
Display is just an iPhone 8 black display
battery is higher capacity and has a larger connector so new part
Speaker, Taptic Engine are iPhone 8

So, a larger battery, more efficient CPU, so slightly better battery life than an 8?
