Thanks for that, I'd not noticed this app before, I don't send texts to multiple people normally but it's nice to have on the phone to show the naysayers.

A couple of people in the States have spoken to AT & T staff and have been told 1.1.3 is being released 1st Jan and will support MMS. Which may please some people.

Also, I love everything about this phone, apart from the crappy built in speakers, they distort at high volumes which seems to be a problem everyone has. Although if you set the EQ to Bass Reducer then it seems to be fine. Just songs with a lot of Bass sound awful with out the EQ set.

just bought my iphone. got a £45 tarrif (work pays for it so figured why not).. only problem is, its registered, number confirmed etc.. But the phone isnt getting any signal, does it take a considerable amount of time once registered for it to work or not.

Any ideas would b appreciated and I'm sorry if this has already been covered.

Someone mentioned that they had no signal after jailbreaking it, but if you haven't done that then I would think it may be a hardware fault.

If the signal doesn't come in within 24 hours then return it under your warranty and get a new one.

I was trying to jailbreak my "legit" iPhone and even when I restored it to 1.1.2 it would take a few hours to "activate" in iTunes.

I can only assume it's because 02 blocked my number for a certain time.. next morning I switched it on and it was fine, and has been fine since

You can, as long as it's not 1.1.2 out of the box i.e all UK iPhones.

Im on 02 and have a contract with them. If i was to buy a US or UK iPhone would i get all the features or only a few?

I changed my contract today on the phone and was told 02 won exclusive rights to the iphone for five years.

And im not willing to pay £269 and £35 a month for a phone!

So then, I can buy this from any Apple store/02 shop today, and just come home jailbreak and unlock to any 02 and I will be fine? ....It won't not get a signal like said earlier in this thread ? - The unlock seems easy enough

You wont get a signal until you get back to 1.1.2, apart from that u should be ok
