Not true - there is a big difference between a quick snap and MMS and an e-mail, which most people don't receive via their phones.I don't think MMS will be included this time round either, it's old now and people will use email instead of MMS, it's like what Apple did with the floppy drives when they got rid of them.

would be amazed if not on the iPhone 2.

I agree, think MMS will eventually fade out. Why waste 30 odd pence to send an MMS when you can send it by email for free. Then people say "but normal phones can't recieve them", my reply is "Then get an iPhone..."![]()
It's not about how easy it is to send a photo by email, it's about the majority of people not having the capability or inclination to check their email on their phones. I use MMS all the time.. if you are only friends with geeks that constantly check their email then I can understand why you might think it's not necessary![]()
I disagree. It's super quick to email photos from iPhone, I never use SwirlyMMS now.
More waiting
"Even more good news is the fact that the new model should be in the shops by July 2008 which is shortly after the launch in America"
Yes, it is 'super quick' to send them, but what about receiving them? Most MMS users want to send photos to other people to receive on their mobile phones. Seen as though consumer e-mail usage of their mobile phones is next to nothing, e-mail fails it.
I've never sent one. And any image I've recieved was barely viewable due to a combination of a crap phone screen and complete lack of resolution anyway. You're very much in the minority then I'm afraid. MMS is still a big thing.
