I dont think i need to point out the obvious flaw in your statement there.
, then it's quite obvious that "they" = earphone/headphone manufacturers, and "replace the unit" = the third party earphones and headphones. The complication in this case, though, is earphones and headphones by other manufacturers - so far, they are none the wiser about exactly what causes the problem, so they have no choice but to replace the unit if you send it back within the warranty period.
Some people have reported problems with the left side too.sam.wheale said:So, what I really want to know is; what’s the returns procedure with Apple?
Can someone post some links/details? I’m assuming I won’t have to return the iPod as well
Thanks,

Thanks for the warning mate - I thought it was okay? No one said anything? I've corrected it now anyway! Cheers.BoomAM said:sam.wheale, you might want to consider re-doing your sig. Its against the rules at the moment. Max of 400x75@20Kb.

I got my replacements - what's the deal now with returning the old ones? I've been given a return label, but will UPS just randomly turn up and collect them or do I have to get in touch with them myself? I don’t want to get stung with the £9 charge
It all seems a bit vague? Apple's instructions/UPS etc
Help!
