IPS panel monitor for editing, any size advice please....

I was going to suggest the Asus PA238Q 23 inch for just over £200 but I see you've already bought another one.

Actually reading up, there appears to be quite a few negatives about backlight bleed on this one.

scrap that i just got my dispatch note, it will be here tomorrow :D

@D.P. im going halves with a friend to buy a spider 4, all the reviews say it comes pretty much spot on out the box. I know it should be done once every few months so i have a little grace before i need one.

Please excuse my home made desk :p

the difference in the monitors are very noticeable! the colours are more..... substantial, and the blacks are deeper with much broader contrast.

I love the way the monitor knows what kind of program im using and dynamically changes the its colours and brightness.

Im very happy i chose to listen to you you guys :)

my one and ONLY gripe is the usb3.0 cable is very short, anyone know if i can buy a longer one?

U2412M and U2713HM here., both calibrate perfectly and are around 0.1 deviation between each other. 0.12cd/m2 black level and 0.2 to 0.6 for luminance. Perfect examples of accurate sRGB colours.

Enjoy!

It makes a world of difference having a decent monitor (especially when you go to print!), and it just makes your desk a nicer place to work in general. Enjoy mate :)

got mine today - loving the monitor, looks really sharp as for bleeding I can't tell at all. Viewing angles are also really good on this - night and day against my old 24" Dell.

Very impressed.
