IPS vs VA

It'll come with an external power supply if it's anything like the model linked above, works on all voltages, though you'll likely need an adaptor or to replace the power cable going to the external power supply.
The 32GP850 is available in the UK already for around £499, too, if 32 inch is still a consideration :)

Its on LG's website, just says coming soon.

Personally it's what I'm waiting for, but the price will be at least £400, possibly as much as £450. Is it really worth 1.5x the cost of the older model?

Probably not. Still, I'm going to wait to see what the rip-off Britain price ends up being, knowing that you could import it for less than £400 a week or so ago (it costs more to import it right now).

What's the model number of this one, do either of you know?

The 27" will be sharper, my only concern is how less sharp a 32" will be

The one he and I were talking about is this one:

Has said, "Coming soon!" for a while now. Been in stock in the US for months, and the EU for over a month.

Thank you!

Same PPI as 1080P at 24" (if you have one of them lying around to compare lol). Of course, you might sit back a little further from the 32" which would help.

I am learning there is a cost to everything.
32" has all the bells and whistles I want but is less sharp than a 27 and I am about 55cm from it. My arms don't reach the keyboard if I sit further back.
The 27 LG 27GL850 is a good price but old tech and also heard that the vesa mounting has too much of a curve on the casing to align a monitor arm fixing, so would need spacers and longer screws which is a botch job
The 27 LG 27GP850 is good and ticks the boxes but is unavailable in the UK and there will be a stampede getting one before everyone buys them up.
The Odyssey G7 looks good on paper but is a VA panel with its own issues.
The Asus VG27AQLA1 again looks good on paper but has a very aggressive anti ghosting, low contrast and IPS glow.

I can't believe there is not one thing that has what I want and is available

I've always gone for IPS, but I have just looked up the Samsung Odyssey G7 and it gets some good ratings.
I'll always sit dead on to my screen so no viewing angle concerns but I was expecting to find some things not
quite so good for a VA panel... From anyone that has one, do you like it? Would you recommend it or suggest staying with IPS?
