The killer being a Taxi driver makes perfect sense to me. So it doesnt suprise me that the person that has been arrested is a Taxi driver. I really hope it is the killer and that this is an end to it.

Taxi driver? According to Sky and his own website he is a Team Leader at Tescos...

Am I just being a miserable old married fart or is there something a little bit sad about a man who - the same age as myself - is three years away from 40 having a MySpace page?

Not really but there is a big difference between a miserable old married fart and a miserable old single fart which he appears to be.

IF is he is the killer then I think that's likely to be the least of his problems ;)

Can someone post them as I don't have a MySpace account and I will certainly never get one either.

EDIT: BTW, they are playing an interview with this bloke on 5Live at the moment.

My 52 year old mother has a myspace account and just under 400 friends! :(

Perhaps we should all sign up as his friends ? After all, he is innocent until proven guilty.

Don't think he'll have time to accept friend requests seeing as he's banged up down the nick at the moment :D

The one common strand that links all the girls that were killed is sorry affair is… surprise surprise, drugs. They all became hooked on heroin in there late teens/early twenties and were therefore forced to work the streets to feed their habit. But it doesn’t have to be like this, I don’t agree with people taking heroin but there must be a better way.

I lay the blame for the deaths of these young girls directly with authorities who despite all efforts keep drugs off our streets have achieved nothing but to force descent, normally young people in to a life of dangerous crime. Isn't it time this absurd policy was thoroughly looked into. When it comes to heroin there can be no half measures. Ether remove the drug from our streets entirely (imo completely impossible), or provide a way for addicts to find a cheep, safe and reliable source to feed their illness until they can be properly rehabilitated. The status quo is helping no one.

I think its wrong that the media have splashed all these details around and about him,

Innocent until proven guilty at end of the day he could well be released without charge.

Its interesting that another hooker has spoke about his request saying she doesn't think its him because he always helped the hookers and was a great friend to them.

Would a serial killer really make that much effort to be friends with them for years then suddenly decide to kill them.

I dont think so personally what others think???

I totally agree. His life is ruined even if he is innocent.
