The one common strand that links all the girls that were killed is sorry affair is… surprise surprise, drugs. They all became hooked on heroin in there late teens/early twenties and were therefore forced to work the streets to feed their habit. But it doesn’t have to be like this, I don’t agree with people taking heroin but there must be a better way.
I lay the blame for the deaths of these young girls directly with authorities who despite all efforts keep drugs off our streets have achieved nothing but to force descent, normally young people in to a life of dangerous crime. Isn't it time this absurd policy was thoroughly looked into. When it comes to heroin there can be no half measures. Ether remove the drug from our streets entirely (imo completely impossible), or provide a way for addicts to find a cheep, safe and reliable source to feed their illness until they can be properly rehabilitated. The status quo is helping no one.
