iRacing

sorry I missed you lot tonight, spent about 3hours more time on bad company than I expected ;) maybe tomorrow since theres' more free time :)

that's good, will give me time to get up to speed.my quick TT run yesterday put me at a very consistent 1:55.... I hadn't done any practice and was pressed for time, so was extra cautious (braking where I should just lift, coasting into corners etc)... but, was within a few tenths for the entire session, which is quite good for me ;)

I've got ispeed data for a 1:46.5 and a 1:46.7 kinda silly really ;) guy is going full throttle where I'm braking :| I try and take the same line and speed but I just lose the car :(

gah, I give up today. Managed to improve my optimal lap time by around 2 secs, yet only actually really finish 1 lap... and it was pretty poor. was 2 secs up on my bost going inte the final corner and managed to fail completely. Doesn't help that my wheel is falling apart from the inside

I really don't like the SR. The lower rankings you're in the harder it is to keep up due to all the stupid people around you. I know I'm not that fast, and I don't race someone when they're obviously faster than me on track but when you're coming up to lap a broken/really slow car and they start to race you, and you get like a 6x inc due to them spinning infront of you, it's damn annoying

You've got my vote Andrew, anyone from OcUK will always get my vote regardless of what its for lol, thats loyality for ya. On another note im enjoying the jetta, my god its a dream once you get used to the stiff ride and bouncy nature of it oh and Barber motorsports track is an amazing track to race on - Never drove on it before let alone in the jetta, 2nd lap 1:42:5xx almost at the fastest guys pace of 1.41:xxx, im smitten with the jetta.
your dream car :P

I'm still holding back on dropping $20+ on a new car/track on top of a subscription
