Ah well. Only spotted it after I said yep! It's cheaper than they are on the auction site and there's much less chance of getting shafted on the MM here.

I guess used values have gone up as there's virtually no new stock anywhere, the two places that have it want £260+...

Rules of the MM state you can't sell something for more than you paid.

He maybe just inside the explicit rules, because he didnt buy the item with the intention of selling for a profit. But I suspect the mods would frown upon what he has done.

2.4.9 - Profiteering is prohibited. Our definition of profiteering is where any item has been deliberately purchased with the intention of selling for a profit. We do not regard the sale of gifts, prizes and RMA items to be profiteering provided they are sold at the correct market price (please refer to rules 2.3.7 & 2.3.8).

Finally got to do a Grand AM race @ SPA last night in the MP4. Finished some tweaks to my set just before the race that seemed to work out really well. The tires front to back and across all 4 tires sit in a temp range of of a few degrees. keeping the setup very balanced at all stages of the race and tire life. I didn't have to mess with brake balance or anything at any point. Which allowed me to just get on and race.

Came home 1st putting in decent pace of 2:21's-2:22's on a lap where I wasn't being held up. Car defiantly had more time in it but the guy sat in 4th got the race blinkers on during the pace lap and drove into the back of me. En rouge was a brown pants moment every lap as the car compressed and uncompressed up the hill.

I think I could have drove the tires all the way home to be honest. leader pitted early I pitted about 4+ laps or there about's after the guy chasing me in 4th who pitted 2 laps after the leader. could have gone more but was running into back markers so pitted to give me some clear track. Managed to jump into 2nd place after the pit stops. The guy now in 1st decided to run as long as possible. Bad move I was taking chunks out of him until I hit traffic again.

The next 35 minutes or so I had 3rd place in my mirrors and was able around 3-5 seconds on him. Until his fuel came off and I had to drive some really hairy laps to hold a gap we crossed the line split by 1.5 seconds. I got the refuel a bit wrong and put in far to much fuel crossed the line without even getting "5 laps of fuel to go"trigger. So some good pace in the set.

Best race I've had on Iracing for a while. If any of you want the set holla next time you see me online. I dont have Sebring or Interlagos and need to resub in a few weeks so Ill be back for brands hatch. My set should kinda work at sebring just soften the car up a little and you may want to drop off a bit of wing by a notch.

I did a few laps of Sebring last night.

Never driven it before in any game so it's going to take some practice before I do a race.

I don't have Indianopolis, so I can't jump in the GT Challenge race this week.

I've been doing a few oval races to try and get out of rookie, some go ok but it's mostly carnage. Doing TT's would be safer but it's too boring. Qualifying for races helps a lot though.

You got Brands hatch Murray ?? Ill do some test's with you when I'm free if you want. If theres any credits left on my account ill throw an hosted session up.
What about you mark ? I don't have Indy either so GT challenge is off for me also. Until next week as it's at oaky long we all have that :d Not drove there in a while so do some test there also.

We will need to edit the set for Brands as it will need a lot more turn in. It should be ok for Oaky.

How does anyone manage to break two minutes at Sebring? That's six seconds faster than my best so far. The trouble is I can't see where they are faster than me, I feel like I'm on the limit the car as it is.

At least with Spa I know where I'm slower.

I'm considering getting CSR Elite pedals for the load cell brake. Everyone seems to highly recommend them.

I'm going to be getting a set. I have a GT2 wheel (which has always been flawless by the way), but I've been using the crappy plastic pedals for years. I've never been terrible at racing games, but I've always wondered how much better I could be with a decent set of pedals to compliment the wheel.

They must be good, because they almost never come up for sale on eBay.

Just had a really close finish on Road America.

Here is a video of it(came out a bit choppy for some reason)

Here are the offical race results

Can anyone who plays using 3 screens confirm whether or not the game is easier with 3 screens rather than 1.
Easier is hard to measure. More immersive and enjoyable, without a shadow of a doubt. But you always have to remember that just because you can see the other guys a bit better (depending on the FOV you settle on) that doesn't mean they can see you as clearly. So in a way it can be a bit more dangerous, because you can get over-confident

Bottom line, it won't make you a better driver, but it will make you enjoy it more. And if you enjoy it more, chances are you'll be a better driver. Eventually. :-)

I was thinking more along the lines of being able to see the apex of corners easier, so making cornering easier and more precise.

From the videos I've seen of 3 screen set ups, the FOV they usually have means the cockpit takes up less room on screen and so they are a lot more of the track. If I try this sort of FOV with one screen the car feels like its turning on its centre and too quick for me to gauge turning properly.
