I don't have the money for one really :(. Will you take some pics of yours all setup for me when you get it :). I've looked into the nixim mod but I'm worried I'd pull on the cable or end up bricking my pedals lol. Leo bodnar cable is on the list though, just when I get paid at the end of the month :p
 
nah you wouldnt brick them mate, the bodar cable is amazing for the price increase resolution of the pedals 4x...mind if you get the Nixim mod you really need the pedals hard mounted as it takes a lot more force to press them...

yeah I'll stick some pics up of the obutto just hope it fits properly were I won't it to go...
 
Deffo can't get the nixim mod then lol. I have my pedals on a wooden surface and have them blue tacked down :p. With this pro mod of mine, there isn't any movement :p. where did you get the cable from? Leos site?

I might sell my wheel stand pro what my wheel and pedals are on now when I get my obutto, I was planing on keeping it to use downstairs on my ps3...
 
fired up the game for the first time in ages, its really different :x
force feedback is way different, feels a lot like other games now, tracks seem smoother too, i can feel the car better perhaps, but i dont feel the track anywhere near what i used too, that granular feeling.

and the star mazda is now a slip slidey car ? was trying it around suzuka..

what ffb settings u guys use?
im g25, in logi profiler
106% ffb
0 spring
100 damper

900 degrees
in sim, 0 damper, and 12 strength
 
hmmmm Iracing feels different to all games to me.

the star Mazda is on the NTM it does feel slippery but I don't race it I race the radical, I do like the star mazda but I found it dirty racing as its quite a busy series, fun none the less...

your using pretty much the same settings as me on on a g27...
 
Yep, Donington will be good, I'm hoping they get at least one other track whilst they're over here as well but not sure how likely that is. We do have a few to choose from :p

Is it sad that I'm kinda looking forward to driving the new pitlane at Silverstone?

pingu666, that'll be the new tyre model most likely, it seems to take a couple of iterations before the track feel gets back to where it should be really but the car feel is improved and the tyres (whilst still a work in progress) are showing signs of a much better model.

Can't really talk about the SM though, not driven it in a long time, thank god :p

Give the Radical a go though, it's pretty epic :D

With the wheel I'm similar except 0 damper in the logitech settings.
 
I'm not too fussed about a BTCC car tbh, probably as I'm not the biggest fan of the series, or tin-tops in general, or fwd which has no place on a circuit imo :p

It was mentioned on the iracing forums but a Ginetta could work really well, although probably too low powered to fit in (we've already got the MX5, Solstice, SRF, Mustang and Jetta as the low-powered cars really)
 
you won't see a Porsche EA got the rights to it mate...

the new maclaren mp4 should be good tho...

but going by what peeps are saying in the Iracing forums a BTCC car is on the cards...woop...

Then again, the new Donnington is a mess, plus they got rid of the Dunlop bridge before they ran out of money when they got the F1 race.

I live on the other side of the motorway to Donnington, I will drag their laser around on my back I have to.

I cannot stress how much I would cream myself if they included a BTCC series in this game. One of my favourite racing games is still TOCA 2.

Graveyard, what is your name ingame?

Also, going back to one of your earlier posts, how much better is the DFGT wheel compared to a G25?

yep looks like we are getting a BTCC car aswell, and there talk of another British track...i bet the car will be the chevy.

I got all the content :o, plus a licences :), so if i can get good enough again, i can do anything :D. i mostly did hosted stuff as i got fed up of the SR thing.

get in the practice servers in the radical mate...

thats the beauty of the radical series theres only races fri, sat, sun so we have all week to practice so the races are better...
