Shame about the code, but they've always done a similar deal around the july/august time frame ('anniversary' of it going public, so lots of the original members have renewal dates around then)

Good to see Simon got the win :)

And yes, tomorrow we should get the caddy, motegi, NTM on the Indycar and <something else>, an update to the NTM in general, I think there was talk of a fairly large sound upgrade as well for this release but not sure it will actually be there. And of course some other stuff they haven't really hinted towards, actually thinking about it there's the 'Dainty Hand Model' (they scanned Sean Siff's hands to update the drivers ones :p)

Possibly, don't think it'll be major changes but probably some tweaks might be needed, I did some HPD running before/after a NTM update and could set roughly the same time with the same set...

Already pre-ordered :)

Yep :)

You've got Indycar with NTM running both the Oval and Road configurations I believe,

The GT/Prototype series are at Motegi doing:
24th and 25th - HPD's
26th and 27th - Corvettes
28th and 29th - Ford GT's
30th - All 3

and the caddy has a variety of tracks (one per day I believe) ending with Motegi East.

EDIT: Forgot one, and the other car getting the NTM, it's the 'old' NASCAR B-Class car, now called the K&N National car, doing the Motegi Oval

Guys, what would recommend after the MX5's?

There's no 'try before you buy' so it's difficult to know which is more enjoyable, I was looking at the Mustang and V8's are they seem like a good step up.

V8's are seemingly impossible to get an official race in, most people don't really like how it drives, although didn't seem all that bad from the few times I've tested it, made worse by being at Philip Island :p

Mustang is ok, last time I drove it it needed to be flung around and sliding to get the damn thing to turn, but that was kinda fun, so slow though...

Personally I'd give the Spec Racer Ford a go and if you like that go the Skippy route for D-Class, but only if you like the SRF, they're both similar and both very twitchy, I like it but not everyone does :p

But sounds more like you want tin-tops, so maybe Mustang and then into the Ford GT/Corvette series, I wouldn't really bother with the V8's with the low participation...

Id wait and see what this caddy is like then skip d class and go into the star mazda or radical in c class...

Thanks for the info josh looks like ill buy motegi then neeed to find another 3 things to buy tho I might get the truck as I fancy abit of oval next season..I already have the late model..

Looks like ill be giving the caddy a run out this week then...

I didn't realise the V8 had such low participation, that's a shame, I love the TV series!

Mustang slow and 'slidey', bloody typical yank tank then, might avoid.

What are the Grand-AM like?

The caddy is a free car and a series that's likely to have a prize for the winner so you'll see very good participation, at least early on...

By Grand-AM do you mean the Riley DP + Mustang series? the DP is quite good, personally prefer the HPD for that kind of car, the DP supposed to be even better since the last update as well though :)

With the new build tomorrow, the whole thing will go down at 12, back up at 3pm, and the caddy should be included at the same time :)

Not as far as I know I'm afraid, although you might have some luck if you let it lapse but seems a bit silly just before a new season...

Most of the promo codes are for new accounts only.

Well my finger is hovering over the buy button on the Clubsport pedals, so every little helps but you're right with a new season looming a renewal seems fitting.

I got my clubsport pesals lastweek and I'm still not used to them properly I never expected a learning curve like this with them, maybe its just me to but I had the nixim mod in my g27 pedals and I'm used to been hard on the pedal and you can't do that with clubsports...

The problem with 'normal' pedals is their lack of realism, I'm used to the real thing so for me the throw and lack of resistance in the brake is just weird and unnatural.

Im almost there dude, got to 3.95 SR last night doing the 12am race just started at the very back and sunday drove my way around.
Going to do a TT in a bit once i finshed work so I can get ready for the caddy. Wont be able to play it till wednesday :( myself.
Now I just need to control my right foot in a TT so i can finally get to 4.0:D:D:D:D:D

BTW why is the v8 so bad and under used I was looking at it myself, as the series in real life is brilliant, I expected it to be a brilliant car :(
