I didn't realise just how many tracks there were though! What do people recommend out of the remaining Skippy tracks for this season? I am planning on getting 4-5 of them which covers all the remaining ones anyway, but I would rather not trump up the cash if the track is a known bad one!
If you're planning to get 5.... you might as well get 6 for 20% off. Or maybe 5 plus a car!

As for which ones to pick, I have no idea. All I can say is that Spa and Suzuka are great tracks, but maybe not ideal for the Skippy. Probably more suited to the faster GT and Formula cars.

The Philip Island track is proving unpopular looking at the race results (not many splits if any at all) and the V8 race this season has already raced on it so I'm passing on that one. Just want to know which are the popular tracks that are left as I have no idea!

For the remaining Skippy tracks I'd probably pick up Suzuka, Road Atlanta and Spa since I've never been around Zolder or VIR before. So that would take you up to 5 tracks if you are getting Talledega and Daytona so you might as well throw in another track you like the look of or maybe another car for the 20% discount.

I'm skipping the skippy(:p) this week since I don't like Phillip Island, not a fan of Okayama either so I'll probably get back in the Skippy for Lime Rock since I've been looking forward to that.

That looks insane, looks really different to drive from the current one.

OCuK Sportman of the year award Murray, for pushing me home on the last lap to claim a ocuk 1-2 in the 11:45pm Grand Am race at Brands hatch last night lol.

Only a small grid and most people drove there selfs off the road. I lead for 99.9% of the race with a lap to go the car starts spluttering. Im about 5 seconds up on Liam tell him over the mic I may run out of fuel, the moment I said it the car did one big splutter and staled itself. With 2/3rds of the lap to go Liam comes up behind me and pushes me the whole way round the lap like a pair of Oval drivers to get us both home not a single 4x's insight great bit of pushing mate :D

Lol at us pushing the crap out the prototype drivers at the start of the race, to much money not enough talent at the back of that grid.

Picked this up last week. Was just getting to grips with Lime Rock Park last week and then initially found myself struggling with Laguna Seca, losing about 0.3 off my SR in the first couple of races there.

I've managed to turn that around and now that I can keep the car pointed in the right direction for 10 laps I'm finding Laguna Seca very enjoyable. Just hanging back on the first lap, waiting to drive round the inevitable carnage at the hairpin and then at the corkscrew I've managed to snag a few top 5 finishes.

Very enjoyable and rewarding game. :)

I was really gently when pushing you so I didn't end up getting a 4x. Got to conserve that SR :D

It was a fun race though even if the prototype drivers nearly wiped us out a few times, one did hit me coming back on track but didn't seem to do anything to my car.

Not sure what happened to my car here but it scared the hell out of me the first and second time. I was in 5th at the time and ended up finshing 9th.

Sounds like it's bottoming out to me, not sure what the setup options are but if there are bump stop settings try that, otherwise harder springs/higher ride height.

First win in the bag today. Average 1:48.798 (fastest 1:46.997) around Laguna Seca. Hardly scorching pace but I kept it on the track and won by 5.2 seconds.

Led for 7 laps and really started to feel the pressure 2 laps from the end, having to slow for a black flag after cutting the corkscrew a bit, and then nearly losing it coming out of turn 4 on the last lap.

Felt good coming out of the last corner and flooring it to the line. :D

I can host one again if we can decide on a time.

I'm around most of Sunday evening.

Nice one.

I can only dream of lap times like that atm mustard :( Only just got under 2 minutes while keeping it on the track.

A few weeks ago I could only just do 2 min laps at Laguna and had no idea how people were doing under 1:50. Now I average 1:48 and wonder how people do 1:40 haha. Just keep at it and as each week goes by you naturally seem to get faster.
