How many points do I need to get out of Rookie class? I am 2.97 (ROOKIE) now.

Disaster week at interlagos this week. 5 starts and only one decent result. I am starting to get a bit disillusioned with the GT3 series now. I really enjoy the car but the quality of driving just seems poor. Been trying out the radical and I'm really enjoying. Might spend next season in that insstead.

A lot of ppl seem to be saying that about the gt 3 series atm, makes me sad as this was my goal since starting iracing :-(

It's probably down to the high participation that the GT3 series has a higher proportion of less than stellar drivers in it, especially in the lower splits.

It might also be that the series uses two of the easier cars in iRacing than any other. The Radical is a bit of a handful by comparison, so there's lower participation and only the more dedicated drivers tend to race.

I still wouldn't let it put you off driving in it though.

If there're any new cars added next season then maybe the GT3 series might fall off a bit and the banzai idiots will have a new toy to crash with.

Won't be here for OcUK bumper cars for a fortnight.

Don't really know what I want to race atm, GT3 seems fun but not as exciting as the Lotus 79 but then I don't have enough time to get fast in the Lotus 79 again.

Back in the Mclaren after a good number of hours practice this week. RUF was a bit of an SR disaster but I'm loving this again, few great races at Interlagos.

One race however, my logitech DFGT randomly shut off mid-race and I had like 10degrees of steering - anyone else experienced similar? Was fine for an hours practice then race just now but I was rather paranoid.

Edit Second win in the C Spec RUF, full grid of 23, started 1st - 1inc whole race led from start to finish, amazing feeling.
