i7 > amd x6
Hey Willie,is there like some kind of massive difference between amd processors when compared to intels that im not aware of?
Hey rjkoneill,i7 is faster than and amd hex core
- planning on doing my first build
- i haven't just won the lottery
- is 6 core well to much??
- build to last me at least 3 years
- i game, watch films and well surf the web with my computers
- i have atm is an antec 300 a dell mouse and keyboard and a monitor (res?)
- budget is around 700 including an OS
i don't particularly want to spend a large amount of drink money on a cpu else i'll be a recluse for the first few months of my uni degree
i7 is faster than and amd hex core
this is a fact
proove it thenbut for ultimate power you've got to go with Intel and overclock.
Everyone will now chime in saying, "Aaahhh, but games of the future will utilise more cores", true, but the games of now and yesteryear don't, and they're the ones being played right now.
proove it then
everyone says intel over clock win but forum user results show otherwise
Stop going on about that test.
CPU usage wasn't at 100%![]()
neither was it for even a lowly 1055t as i showed
still waiting for you to decide on settings and a video for handbrake you were quick to start the thread expecting intel to do better then lost intrest fast as the results started to come in![]()
