Is a 32 Inch Monitor too large for working at a desk?

Is there anything that negative about a 34" Ultrawide in comparison to a 32"?

Looking to build up a new system and have always had dual 21" monitors, so a 34" UW makes more sense for the extra working space and running 2 separate windows split down the middle of the screen. Then can just game on a glorious UW monitor.
If you're not interested in HDR or VA panel then i would go for a IPS 38" UW like the AW3821DW

But a 32" 16:9 maybe be much better for media as it would fill the screen where on a UW you get black bars either side

what about films that are in that silly mega wide aspect ratio. im assuming those will fill the ultrawide screen up fully?

27 is sweet spot for me, tried my 32 and it's too big so in its box as backup, curved 34 was awesome for gaming but sucked for desktop

It's ultra low screen.
Vertical image size is same to smallish 27" 16:9 while hogging 10cm more desk space than 32" 16:9.

For working 4K would give most space.
Though 100+Hz 4K 32" models are still on their way.
Hopefully something becomes available during summer.
I'm myself waiting those with now 8½ years behind with 30" 16:10 Dell U3014.
(which makes LG's by itself excellent 27GP950 small)
