Is a Salad Drawer called a Crisper in the UK?

Salad drawer/tray here. Surely though, by calling it a 'crisper' one is implying that it's the thing that does the initial crisping.
It's implying heat rises and the "crisper" is the coldest area of the fridge and likely to keep things fresher than say the top shelf.

The temperature at the bottom of the fridge will be far more consistent and stable also but I know some people who have their fridge set to a really low temperature because they like ice cold milk but doing this usually means anything in the crisper section starts to get iced over which would obviously ruin any salad and you would have to toss the salad

It's still a stupid name and trying to designate it as an area for salad... are people to stupid to realise how to order a fridge? things that spoil quick at the bottom, things that don't at the top
The only exception to this rule is beer bottles and cans they go wherever they will fit

Salad drawers are supposed to work as the lids reduces the humidity inside hence keeping vegetables crispier for longer.

Also, you should not keep dairy products eg milk on the inside of the door as this has the highest temperature in a fridge.

my milk stays nice n cold in the door

Well apparantly it's the warmest place in your fridge and is the last place you should keep it despite it being designed for it.

Also not cleaning out your salad drawer every week means that there is up to 8 times the recommended maximum unhealthy bateria levels in your drawer!
