At the moment this is true IMO.

It also doesn't really add anything special to the genre. The customisation of your avatar is quite nice but could have gone a lot further.
 
S&D is awesome. The maps are just perfect for 9v9, I kinda got used to playing 6v6 COD5 in Euro-Dom config. CTF and DOM tremendous, TDM meh, camptastic as one would expect (public server TDM is really Sole Deathmatch, we all know this already).
 
really bad game, crashes all the time, it is now uninstalled. Graphics are naff and the gameplay is boring. Makes me appreciate bfbc2 a lot more.

this is kinda annoying and this is why some great games get canned early.

for millions of people the game runs sweet and flawlessly . the game is decent .look at the sales look at how many of people own the game and how many in reality are moaning about it probably ten percent at most. thats a small percentage and like always on forums these people are loudest to voice whats wrong.imagine if all those that are playing it all day voiced on these very forums you wouldnt find any moaning posts would you as theyd be drowned out.

i do enjoy cods and have done but its ten times better than mw2 and more fun than bfbc2.bfbc2 maybe more graphically better and better sound but it is boring to play after a few rounds.

is it the best cod out ever = no . cod 4 was best cod recently then its all the way back to the golden days with cod 1 and uo.

thing is look at all games over last few years ea are doing it activision all of em. there diluting the source of pc gaming and it will become totally consolized.

so you either except this or live in a time warp from the 90s or early 2000s. you aint gunna get games like cod 1 remade you aint going to get counterstrike remade you aint getting a early battlefield made. fps will do something different but what no one knows just yet. if all we do is bash our gaming why are we even playing as your obiously not enjoying it and maybe time to pick a new hobby or pastime.

i would say if you have a dualcore machine i would think about either giving the game a miss or upgrading as dualcores are bare minimum for this game whether people admit it or not.doesnt matter if your pc can run other games it says on the box x3 athlon or e6600 MINIMUM. rant over ;)

While I admit to not personally approaching it close enough to knock it down with a ****ty stick, it strikes me that's it's basically the same game they release every year with a slightly different skin. Play the older games and avoid giving money to Activision at all costs - slavering simpletons throwing wads at rehashes like this are tainting the PC gaming market. If you really must buy it, please get a console and buy it on that.

Spot on. At least the Bf series games have progression when they release a new one.
 
If you have cod4 just play that you will get Lot more enjoyment out off that, PS I bought it and thought to cartoonist and has nothing to the multi-player side cod4 wins lot more.
