Well, UN report just released on this and it seems to constitute crimes against humanity.
Those Islamic countries that spend their time condemning the West are conspicuously quiet on the matter.

Theyre the "wrong" type of muslims, id imagine if they were all sunni, things might be different.

It's also very curious how quiet the leftists are. Again, maybe the wrong minority being oppressed for them to get upset?

Interesting! So they're torturing up to 12M sunni muslims and yet nothing at all is said by any Islamic states about it.

They're not exactly silent, middle Eastern and African countries have publicly praised China's human rights policies as well as actually deported Ugyurs to China! (Saudi, Egypt, etc.)


All appears to stem from an increase in the outflow of Ugyurs studying abroad, apparently this worried China (potential future threat, supposedly) so they began contacting governments to intervene (eg. Egypt being told they accepted students without the Chinese government approval etc.), starting the ball rolling...

China has paid for this "loyalty" from countries in one form or another.
