Is G2A reliable?

Ive had hit and miss experiences with them, always used G2A shield and still had 2 keys not work.

I am currently waiting for them to get back to me about a guild wars 2 key that had already been used. (been waiting 4 days for a response from their complaints department).

But over all i have ordered 10+ keys and only had 2 which have caused bother with the current one being the worst. The first one was resolved within 4 hours.

Yeh I must have gotten unlucky. Had issues with a key my first time with them and they still haven't done anything useful 2 days later.

Same here, I've bought several items and they've all worked.

Unfortunately my last purchase was region locked but they did clearly state it wasn't my region. Only thing I wasn't happy with was the language, it specifically stated English but it required my own solution to play it in English.

Word of warning. Despite me buying their buyer protection and still not having the game in my Uplay library. G2A closed my claim in favour of the "seller". Only £4 but I have now had to raise the dispute on PayPal instead.

If someone trades me a steam gift from their inventory to mine, can I sell that gift on G2A.
I dont want the game but they want some items from me

Stopped buying from them now because of the following changes:

1: You now need to add 20% VAT if in the UK.
2: You now need a €1 per month subscription to G2a Shield (you can cancel this although your purchase would not longer be guaranteed).

That you are advised to keep the €1 a per month G2a shield subscription tells me they are selling keys which could be revoked so I am done with them.

I wanted Mortal Kombat X as they sold it yesterday for just under £20 vs £60 on Steam but when I saw the VAT + G2a shield subscription I decided its not worth it as the key appears to not be always valid which is why they want you to sign up for the sub

Yea the vat and paypal charges are annoying! You go there for an attractive price, click the game you want, and even then between the front page and the games page the price goes up a bit??

Then in checkout you add these additional charges on top so its no way near as attractive as the price you clicked on at the homepage for example

I always just ditch them and go to cdkeys as the website looks more professional, g2a has a certain jankyness to it. May pay a but more in some cases, less in most from my experiance and it doesnt feel like they are tricking you in

My 2 cents :D

I recently got the new wow expansion from G2A, and the key was used!
And took ages about 4 weeks to be issued a refund. not to mention no help from the actual seller! he wanted screenshots and time stamps ect...

I personally wouldn't use them again.

Same here, used a few times without issue. The games requiring a VPN is a violation of Steams terms and conditions, but people do it.

Used once and won't use again. If you land yourself with a dodgy seller you're in for a long wait for their customer service to solve your issue.

had a few games off here, mostly wow game time and had no issues apart from when i bought elder scrolls online from there. acyivated fine and was playing for 2 weeks then got an email saying my account was going to be deavtivated because the key a used was origionally obtained by stolen credit card. luckily i used gta sheild when i purchaced it so got a full refund but was dissapointed as was likeing the game lol

never used this site, I have used simplykeys for one game and had no issues with it at all and that was going through Origin
