You just posted a whole lot of whinging in the 3dmark thread and then decided people didn't like you. You seem like an attention seeker, I wouldn't be surprised if you didn't post anything between 9 - 4 Monday to Friday, kid. ;)

Sorry you feel that way Zefan as they say "you can not please all of the people all of the time" As for everybody else who kindly taken time to reply to this thread i humbly thank you one and all.

Just curious, what has actually made you think you are not welcome here.

and to be fair, posting things like this is probably whats going to make people not want to welcome you.

BUT WELCOME TO THE NUMBER #1 WEBSITE FOR HELP AND ADVICE.

His first post: :D

Hi guy's new to the forum just testing a crossfire set up her at the moment with 3DMARK11 the results look good to me? Well thanks for the really warm welcome and the advice as you can see i have removed the item that nobody likes and i shall keep you any longer best regards and goodbye.

The reason i asked the question is last time i was here which was my first and only time as a newbie i got such nasty "welcome" very much considered never to come back ever again. Then i said maybe that person is having a bad day etc, so i am willing to give this Forum "ONE LAST CHANCE TO PROVE ME WRONG". About the people on here so i thank you for taking note and wait to see what you say one and all? Sorry to hear that gregster i was hoping for a lot more?

P.S. Seems i was correct?

I very much understand this thread isn't about popularity, but the people on this web site could at least be some what more accommodating to new members. I would only be to happy to post you a score for you to comment on, but i feel there is no point now. So i will leave you to your thread and wish you the best of luck, because i can not see any point in being involved in something where your not welcome or wanted.

P.S. Cry me a river too.

So basically he got mad that after posting his 3dmark scores in the dedicated thread no one went out of their way to a) realise he was a new poster and b) take the thread off topic by welcoming him?

Quality forum member appears.

The Million dollar question: Is it true that new members are not welcome on this Web site and this just a Web site for a privileged few who only tolerate newcomers?

Do go on. What sort of welcome are you looking for on coming to a forum with thousands of members? New members are welcome but generally they just get on and start posting, if they do that then normally they'll be accepted easily. I would point out that not having everyone welcome you could simply mean they've not checked your number of posts or join date - maybe you've just been judged on the strength of your posts rather than anything else?

When you first build your first PC and you are full expectation then you find a web site like this to help and guide you to do better with your hobby. Then only to find the people here can not be bothered and told as much as to go away. "Just take a moment to think about that" how would you feel, gutted, rejected, or even worse depressed?

Have a read around, maybe even do a search to see if your question has already been answered. People don't tend to be dismissive if you're asking sensible questions, if however you're asking questions that have already been answered a dozen times then understandably they're less likely to be indulgent to those asking the questions - maybe that applies to you and maybe it doesn't but if you don't like the way you've been replied to have a think about why you've received the responses you have as it might be something to do with the way you've gone about it.

What this site needs is a welcome mat for new members or a enema to say at least make it work.

P.S. AS someone on the TV Say's what do you think?????:(:(

Like a whole sub-forum where you can introduce yourself if you feel the need? That sort of welcome mat?

Let me just take this moment to welcome ajay57 to these forums.

Attention Seeker!!!

Just start posting and nobody will discriminate you for being a newcomer and tbh nobody cares about join date or post count, except those who have an ego like that Bhav guy.

You have to remember questions have probably been asked before so if you don't use the search facility or make a half arsed attempt at asking a question then expect the same in response.

P.S Let me be the first to say - NO COMPETITOR LINKS!!! :p

First of all i am no way a attention seeker or trolling on here as i have more respect than that for this web site to do such a thing. Ok Zefan when make a statement ask you self how does anyone know whether you serious or not i cannot tell from here my friend.

It seems to me the majority of the persons on here are welcoming and wish to be helpful no matter the situation or circumstances are that is really refreshing to see, but call me names it all so shows some one does not like to face the truth?

Welcome to GD, another forum member will be a long shortly with that picture of yourself trying on womens clothing that you thought had not made it onto the internet.

It wasn't my experience. be patient when waiting for answers, and make sure that you read through the forums to try to find any specific answers. If one of the lurkers has seen your question before, you'll usually get a swift "look here" post in response.

In other words, treat others as you 'd expect to be treated yourself, and you'll get along just fab....
