Waaaaaaah waaaaaah!! The other kids didn't go massively out of their way to welcome me Mummy! I'm going to stamp my feet until I get some sugar puffs and chocolate milk to soothe my manchild tantrum!

You're not welcome. Not to me. Man up a bit and stop being such a needy schoolgirl and you might find yourself taking offense to slightly less pathetic things.

If you can do that - and as a result begin acting like a normal person - then you'll be welcome.

Newbies are always welcome as I was when I first joined, never felt unwanted here. WELCOME to the forum ajay ;)
 
You want a warm welcome and a red carpet? Well, with new members getting enemas like you suggest they won't get a red carpet but it sure will be warm.

I think the main difference between people getting accepted or not is whether they have taken a short time to look at the existing threads in the section they want to post in to tell what the usual standards or posting are ... be that the sort of information given or what subjects are not allowed.
 
Firstly please refrain from meanies towards :D Zefan, he was a don and a respected one at that!
Secondly most people just start posting and mind their own business.
As long as you don't ask really dumb things you will be fine.
Thirdly with 100,000 members we cant sensibly roll out the red carpet and dish out the champers for every new member now can we?! :eek::p:D:D
 
Well after 60 replies and 394 views i would honestly say that's a good result in just about 1 hour? And the majority are what i would say, kind and considerate and welcoming no matter the circumstances, this is very pleasing to see, so i say thanks for your kind post and replay's.
