is plasma screen burn an issue

That would explain my mates 436 having problems, he got it pretty much as soon as it was released. Do you have any links to discussions about them sorting them out? I am sure he would be very interested to read them.

It was meant to be something about the voltage was set to high on the very early pioneer 436xde plasmas's....

I myself have a May2006 pioneer 436xde and i had no problems at all yet with screen retention or screen burn on mine..
And i have used my 436xde for gaming for many hours at a time with my xbox360 and still had no problems...
