How exactly are PSG going to force that
PSG have no say whether he leaves on a free
But they can't force him out. If they arrange a move to Saudi he can just go "no" and stay until his contract ends. They will put him up for sale. He is owned by the club.

He might, it seems unlikely but then that would still be his decision, not PSG's. If he wants to go to Real, he'll wait for RealBut maybe if they double he's wages he might say yes.
Unless they are the party type why would they care?I think a lot of these players are going to go for the money and realise fairly quickly that actually they quite enjoyed living in a liberal Western democracy.
Have you ever emigrated? There's more to life than low taxes, high class shopping and staff. Been and done thatUnless they are the party type why would they care?
Living in mansions, no taxes, high class shopping and they probably have a few staff running after their every whim.
Been to South Africa for several months. Rich areas are pretty much gated communities. Apart from Drinking and partying what else is there to do that can’t be done in Saudi?Have you ever emigrated? There's more to life than low taxes, high class shopping and staff. Been and done that
Have a mate working in Saudi specificallt and he's always calling me telling me mind-numbingly bored he is sat in his compound, the only excitement comes from the alcohol raids by the authorities.
So not actually lived in another country then? I've lived in Europe, the Middle East, and SE Asia.Been to South Africa for several months. Rich areas are pretty much gated communities. Apart from Drinking and partying what else is there to do that can’t be done in Saudi?
I would agree but footballers are not normal citizens. They don’t live normal lives. They won’t be down the local markets buying fruit and veg everyday. So not actually lived in another country then? I've lived in Europe, the Middle East, and SE Asia.
There are places that are easy to integrate and live an interesting and fulfilling life, where you get treated like a first class citizen, and there are places that are not welcoming to foreign workers and you are made abundantly clear you are not a first class citizen...and you can multiply all that by 10 if you're not white.
There's some pretty obvious things they can't do but I don't want to be too graphic. We've also seen a growing number of footballers speak out against political decisions in recent years, that could get you executed in Saudi.Been to South Africa for several months. Well any footballer who’s been outspoken in the past should have an easy decision to make. I’m sure nearly all top flight footballers earn enough in one season over here to live a very comfortable life. Unless they fond of the bookies. Which you can’t do over there also. There's some pretty obvious things they can't do but I don't want to be too graphic. I was just replying to your question of what they can't do in Saudi. Gambling is another, although they can't do it here either but the punishment is a few months ban here, I'm not sure which limb you lose for it in Saudi.Well any footballer who’s been outspoken in the past should have an easy decision to make. And I don't want to joke about things like executions but the point isn't just what they can't do (even if there are many things) but the general brutal nature of living in a place like Saudi. I'm not sure I could walk into town to get my new Newcastle shirt from Sports Direct knowing that on Friday they'll be beheading 12 men there who committed alleged crimes when they were still children.
Of course they won't chop their limbs off, it would be a terrible PR move for them which is all this mass investment into sport is about. I assume you'll see something similar to what happened with the Abu Dhabi Sheikh who brutally tortured a man for hours and hours - they'll arrest and imprison one of his servants who filmed it for him, not the Sheikh who shot, electrocuted and set on fire a grain trader.I highly doubt they will chop off the limb of a footballer that they're paying so much for. They'll (the footballers) probably get special privileges. I doubt they'll have alcohol raids either. They'll effectively be government employees.
I think some people are missing that point. “They” being Footballers with extreme wealth.I highly doubt they will chop off the limb of a footballer that they're paying so much for.
