You do know the 7990 is dual GPU? I see no logic going from SLI to crossfire for similar performance.

I just got a pair of Twin Frozor 7950's for £300, I think they're gonna prove VERY good value then!! Esp when I clock the balls off em
I'm inclined to agree.
Are you sure my Battlefield 4 Vram thread has not given you twitchy fingers?

This the 7990 may be single card but remember it's still a dual chip so still uses crossfire and doesn't have built in frame pacing like a 690. You'll probably see temps rise across all components in your system as well with 80-90c in games.
7950's are proving to be insane value at present, esp when combining a pair
I just need 1 card that will last a few years.
was thinking of a slight downgrade to 2 670's.
Not in my case. The Corsair AIR 540 is amazing for cooling. Not worried at all about temps. My lightnings never go over 65c
7990 gets my vote then, has 6GB so no need to worry about that lol, i cant see why it wont last a couple of years at 1080p, should play everything fine
When the new cards come out we shall increase 7990's too £600-£700 region, make of that what you will.
