In other news, another delay from OcUK
Seriously though, people (incl. me) do sometimes feel cheated after knowing several other big competitors have an ETA later than OcUK...suddenly OcUK appeared with an earlier ETA...exactly how can that be possible. Every other site had similar ETA dates...it's like they all knew a big secret and OcUK didn't find out
I do feel a bit upset, but at least I got my money back.

Where do you get that from? They don't buy them at the price they sell them at plus I guess they are on 30 day terms too.
the stock is still worth that much, if sold at the current inc vat price (really i should have used the no vat price) even if they are on 30 day terms, somebody's obviously happy bout there credit rating. hence no problems with cash flow.

I just hope they get enough stock to satisfy the preorders, id hate to have to wait even longer as this is the last componant im waiting for to go into my new machine. Its all built ready to fly and has been for a couple of weeks, im just itching to throw a processor into it. I was gutted when the release was delayed on monday but it was half expected to be honest and with all the uncertainty over the Q9450 release the Q6600 is looking very inviting right about now. But then i might aswell just wait a tad longer and see what happens, i'll give it another week of waiting i think.

definately not, ocuk are charging MILES more for these penryns than competitors, ocuk seem to be getting worse at prices over time now, dont think they realise they would sell more if they charged less, so same profit and yet they would get a larger market share which boost's the company's name and increases new customers.
