The sad thing is its only a few of these sad cases going around kicking up a stink becuase it gives them something to do. I bet most Muslims are quite ashamed when something like this happens.

I rather thought from reading the article that it was some Muslim shopkeepers refusing to put up the posters in their shop, that could suggest some sort of direction in the way they were handed out. Perhaps not though, I really don't know since I'm not a shopkeeper and no-one has approached me about the posters/postcards.
Nope the police shouldn't but then if you want a poster to be as widely publicised as possible then risking offending a section of the population who might need to use it just because the marketing department didn't think seems a little careless.
I thought it was common knowledge, maybe I was being overly generous with my assumptions here.
