Because I thought it was vandalism I have been walking around my car checking every day.

It fell out on its own. The tyre was down to 20psi but I pumped it up and it seem to be holding pressure.

Keep an eye on it, I had similar and it slowly dropped about 1psi every 2 weeks. I just kept the tyre topped up until it needed replacing.

That looks like it’s easily repairable.. I’ve had 2 screws in my tyres in the 4 years, and just screwed them further in and driven to the garage to get them repaired..

Screws are easy, unscrew and insert fatter screw, job done
