Is this the worst advertisement of all time?

is it being panned for being rubbish? if so i dont really agree. I get the point they are trying to make and it is memorable without being irritating.

if it is for being wasteful... i wont lie that arcade getting crushed may be a little sad.... but then, is it even real? with visual effects being what they are it could even be computer generated in which case, no harm no foul.

(note cant see comments as i dont want an account)

if people need to complain about adverts then maybe ford should being back the old capri advert. (not certain if it is fake or not but the person who sent it me swears it is legit)

Is Twitter only for people who get offended by stuff?

If I'm in a good mood and enjoying my day but suddenly feel the urge to want to top myself, I go on Twitter to get some perspective on how pathetic my life isn't. I used to come in quite handy for contacting customer care and finding out why that police chopper is circling my house before the mainstream news tells me, but ever since Musk decided to sacrifice Twitter to the gods of the terminally offended it's just become a platform for people to talk to each other without actual real humans telling them to stfu.

You cannot compare this advert to something like Tesco's "I've got the power" now that is one annoying advert .
saw that for the 1st time yesterday... right up there with the go compare adverts.

generally an advert wont make me buy something (over and above showing me of its existence - i used to like the woodpecker, carling, heineken and hamlet cigar adverts but generally still didnt buy them)

but an advert can put me off a product.

Ever heard the phrase, there's no such thing as bad advertising? This is that. Fairly innocuous ad being taken in two different ways and getting Apple a tonne of media attention. Kudos to the agency. And yes, I occasionally work in advertising.

this is the 2nd time this has been relevant for me today
have you heard of Gerald Ratner?
that being said I don't seen an issue with this add here.

Having seen some of those comments, this is now one of my favourite Apple adverts ever.

Will probably be many

"I'll never use apple again"

Like all the "I'm going to unsubscribe to Netflix" nonsense.

Its perfect now. It's being talked about and shared more than it would have ever been. No such thing as bad publicity!

doesn't tell me anything about the product...

it reminds me of car launches in recent years where it's all strobe lighting and you see about a split second of the actual car

it was always a circle of people attacking other groups of people.

OMG he got ratioed........ the most pathetic thing I ever heard of, just shows how pathetic and sad some peoples lives are....

Twitter for people who weren't popular at school and long to be..

Why is that a bad advert?

I think its pretty ok, all be it a few years late with the "Viral crush everything obsession with hydraulic presses on youtube."

What are idiots getting uproared about that for? Wasting things? Some kid if ecological slant?
