Is this trespassing?

She probably thinks you are scouting out the property as its a remote location with the intention of breaking in at a later date which is why she was hostile and took the photo. Not uncommon for thieves to scout out rural properties before they break in.

Sounds like she was a bit OTT though, but you shouldn't have been there lol

Even if the lady approached the Police, I seriously they would bother unless you have caused a problem or there's been say a break in on the land or if its a regular thing and they have asked for the lady to provide some evidence.

It would be filed under 'cba/magic typewriter'

why would you drive to a caravan site randomly??

Maybe OP has a caravan and wanted to enquire about taking a vacation there sometime, as OP is a member of the Caravan Club.

OP does not toe the caravan with motorbike, OP might have another vehicle more suited to this use.;)

but he wasn't, he was just having a nose about.

i wasn't asking "hey what's your excuse for trespassing" i was asking what's your reason.

it's disturbing how often those two things are confused these days.

No it's somewhere between Daventry and Banbury.

You should know by now that exploring round here is almost guaranteed to end in someone moaning at you. I live close :)

And I don't blame them. A lot of middle-of-nowhere farmland/housing is targeted for theft round here.

Targeted by people who like to curiously wander through private property for no reason other than 'they haven't been there'?

Not surprised by her reaction then, cant trust weirdos like that these days :p

Hiding their face? Protecting their head as required by law. :D

No, they can legally wear open face helmets. I find it disgusting that so many choose to wear full face lids. I think it's because they are oppressed, but it makes me scared! They should be banned!:(

I know you're joking but open face helmets are near pointless in terms of protection and flip up ones are highly compromised.

They are far from being "near pointless", they are just less effective at withstanding certain types of impact.

Point I was making was that a guy in trackies does not seem as threatening as a guy with his face hidden. The fact he rides a motorcycle is an reason for having the helmet but it doesn't excuse him being on private property and clearly ignoring the signs. You are given a sense of security by being able to identify the potential criminal of a crime that has yet to happen, exactly why the lady took the picture of him and the bike.

icon do an interesting helmet divided up, the percentages on the helmet are the % that part of helmets suffer impacts in crashes

the chin bar is involved in about 35% of accidents, that's a pretty significant figure

just grab his chin bar adn you can drag him around as you see fit, a full face bike helmet is more of a liability in a fight than a bonus :p

I'd trust someone wearing hundreds of pounds of gear in the interest of safety over somebody in trackies and an Adidas hat tbqh fam.

Everybody knows people in Adidas trackies are the most harmless people in society unless you're just an easily bullied pansy.

The professional criminals in the expensive gear should be what people should be scared of mate. ;)

In fact the local chavs are pretty good at warning of external threats.
