Is Warhammer Online better than WoW?

They're different games. Some people like one, some people like another. Is Bioshock Better than Crysis? HL2 better than Doom 3?

Do what you would usually do in these situations. Try it and find out.
 
Is Warhammer better than WoW? Not even close IMO. I put Warhammer in Conans league, in Lord of the rings league as they all do not have the smoothness that WoW has.
 
Its the same overall game as WOW but more towards the PvP than PvE[instant] that wow is. The talent trees and spells in WAR seem better for each class but over all *** graphics, whle being somewhat better than wow, dont feel that much better, good, but not jawdroppingly better...

If you like online fantasy games, then you need to decide if instant fighting, wow, or player fighting, war is what you want. As under the skin, they are much the same.

Its all down to personal preference.

At first my mate didnt seem to like it, but hes been giving it a bit more time, and i think it might actually pull him away from warcraft.
 
No. I prefer WoW, the combat system is miles better to me and that makes or break it.

Plus Wrath of the Lich King seems to be an amazing addition and they are adding some stuff that will add a lot to the game.
 
I prefere WAR personally, it's incredibly early days though - but I love the fact that Mythic are really listening to the players.

You're left with a sense that Mythic want to fix bugs and make friends, but with WoW you feel like a number and Blizzard are just after your money.

It's real early days though.
 
Ultimately, ignore everything that everyone says in this thread which is aimed at one title or the other.

Only way to know for sure if its better for you, is to buy it and try it.

Personally I will never go back to WoW as it simply doesnt deliver what I seek in an MMO, WAR does. But thats my entirely personal opinion and wont apply to everyone.

Buy it, try it for the free month and then decide if its better for you than WoW. If it isnt, just return to WoW. Cant beat firsthand experience.
