Is your 20p coin worth £50?

I have one now I think I thought it looked a bit different just seen this thread and had a look in my pocket and there it is.

You check all your coins to see if they have dates on them? Fair play if you do but I doubt it. I sort by new or old (and often set new ones aside), but I don't check dates. I just did check however and all four of my new 20ps are 2008 dated. :(
 
Proper gutted lol know i put 2 x 20p into drink machine other week at work undated due to showed them to a mate and commented about it
 
Its not all new style 20p coins!! Just a very few from one batch.

If its got numbers on just spend it, or ebay it for kicks!
 
Seems to be an awful lot of people claiming they've had one (above the trolls ;)). You know its not just the new design, but an UNDATED version of the new design?
 
I think some of them didn't read the post properly.

The faulty coins don't have dates on folks. There's a reference to a guy who had collected £80 in mostly new 20ps. None were faulty. And I don't think there's too many if the company is offering £50 a time for them.
