Show me evidence BW. You may ignore it and not value it, but you give me an alternative that negates my position (and others as it so happens) and as facts change so must my opinion.

Hence why people have moved from terrorist held territories to regime held territory.

Don't need to show you nothing, nothing will sway you. I'm a Muslim, most Syrians are, I've talked to many people who go there or have been there.

If you think this uprising was started without popular support you are seriously wrong.

Apart from shia, the people mostly hate the government.

Islamic state does not equal isis for the thousandth time.

Oh and did you look at them photos of torture, murder, genocide?

Well I would provide more, am too busy with life hence my mostly emotional outbursts. If you watched CH4 news yesterday the lady was asking a doctor why he supported fighting against the govt. The doctor used the word mujahideen previously.

He said my colleagues have been killed by the Assad regime, we have been bombed three times over the years.

So he said we'd rather live and die with honour then be slaughtered.

This was a professional, a man supposed to heal people yet he was in favour of the jihadists.

Oh and he was from aleppo, I'm guessing he knows the mood better then sven over here.

There is plenty of proof out there, but some people will only search for what they want.

I wish the fighters were less jihadi types, but that's not how things work in life.

Do what you like, I said previously isis does not equal all jihadists. That rebel groups are not perfect.

Buy they pale in comparison to the organised, documented, methodical torture and murder of the Assad regime.

Will you at least admit that? It is apparent to the whole world.

... Concerned by your first sentence BW. The waters are too murky to even hope to see who is good and who is bad.

We agree that the Assad regime has done wrong. We just recognise what ISIS and operative terrorist groups mean: An increase in atrocity and terror and the other post above.

Er, no?

This is the same ISIS that has beheaded innocents on camera, and sent suicide bombers to kill civilians in foreign lands...

Playing a game of "who's the worst bad guy" is a bit pointless, but no, Assad is not worse than ISIS.

e: oh and like Raoh said, a lot of the other "rebel" groups are fluid, with people leaving to join ISIS or going the other way. United in opposition to Assad and united in wanting an islamic state in Syria.

Simple fact it does not happen more often. The simple fact is the terrorist make up propagandise for their own agenda. As well as the Syrian observer for human rights making up garbage in his flat in England.

As i posted earlier al-Din al-Zenki beheading a child or the mass abduction and killing of civilians in Duma

The list goes on and on and the funny part is the terrorists film all these and post them up for the world to see. Yet when the the SAA atrocities you get a single picture or word of mouth from the terrorists themselves.

By no means is Assad perfect, but his is a darn sight better for the majority of Syrians than the moderate beheaders.

Amen. I will go out on a limb and say at this time the only fighting force there we can trust (exc foreign powers) is the Assad regime. He has said he will go has he not???
 
I'm amazed people here support an evil dictator who openly and indiscriminately targets his own people. It's odd that people see the world so black and white too. As if the only options are Assad or Jihadists....
 
You all have strong opinions, which is good. I think that it's important to read both sides of an argument and have a sensible debate.

However, please don't result to any more personal insults.
