It didnt take them long - Fans fighting.

One bad egg and all that, seems if your English at any tournament people will try to get a rise just to make us look bad, as usual some of them react and the pack culture kicks in to look after our own. Problem then is they are all tarred with the same brush. It's a no win situation.

Well you could walk away.

Agreed but I've been to many games and I have the common sense to see when things are getting ugly. There were 100s of fans standing there while the police were getting pelted.

If you hang around chanting at police and see bottles getting lobbed then stand there shirtless bottle in hand saying "Come on" you are asking for it ;)

You missed off ****** also.

Maybe you would have to be in a European competition to cause trouble abroad :p

Do you think Scotland has no football hooligans?

Sounds like our "fans" were targeted by some Marseille local rebel leaders, we retaliates and now we're the ones to be made look bad by the media and public who jumped the gun.

But hey what's new.

I will say it again, they can always walk away, no?

So 12 month sentence = all definitly losing thier job.

So loads of now unemployed thugs back on the streets.

Sounds like a plan

Shoot them, in the legs or arms, i doubt they will go doing this stuff again if that stance was taken, naming and shaming etc doesn't work on them, because people like these have no shame.

Or lock them up for 2 years, in a jail in the country they like to be thugs.

Who would give a toss about them, 99.999999% of the rest of the country wouldn't.

**** em, it is as if the police etc haven't got bigger things to deal with.

Police are a cause of these things, how do they think people will react when they run towards them dressed as paramilitary and armed with tear gas and batons?

Again, you walk away dont you, why would you retaliate if that was coming at you or for any other reason?

You and some more on here sound like you wish you was helping the ******s.

Grade 1 ******.

I think the English that are there to intentionally cause some of this have bitten off more they can chew this time.

Would you care to elaborate? Football is not good for society, it probably costs the tax payer more to police than all illegal drugs, it damages the reputation of good people, and still footballists are running amock in bars and streets as can clearly see.

I'd go so far as to say they do more damage than ISIS.

Any evidence to support those huge exaggerations and the one's from your other post?

What a silly boy you are.

:)

It's all well highlighting how certain posters are exaggerating things.

But across international media right now, it isn't coming out as that far off.

Yes but i would wager what he posted he applies to the whole year round, year in year out, not just a few days headlines on the news.

I don't think anyone around the world will be thinking, crap, they are worse than ISIS, that's a stupid remark.

So huge exaggerations.

And they are more worried about some terrorist making an attack during the football tournament??

Lol just lol, looks like terrorists should be the least of their worries...it's good ole football hooliganism that they need to put a stop to.

There is approx a month of this tournament left and the future.

And it is now all kicking off outside the stadium, water cannons and tear gas.

Call the game off and send all nations teams involved home. It is a disgrace.

Disqualify the England team i would say. Send them back home as a warning to the fans. Bad behaviour is not acceptable and others would suffer but it would be a tough lesson!

And the Russians and the French who are also involved, although they are the hosts :)

Cheers. As someone who has never followed footy, I have no context here.

How bad is this really? Does this happen a lot? I know that hooligans pop up every now and then in the news but are most football tournaments much better than this?

Also, good luck to the French police force. Those poor guys are still coming to terms with a massive terrorist attack and now they've got these brainless idiots to deal with.

They're in a really crap place right now :(

I don't really follow it myself, just what i am watching on various news and websites. It's a disgrace though.
