It just can't be possible or?

I don't think the fact that they're obsolete is the problem - different brands required different methods of putting the cassette in, but none of them were that hard to figure out...

AKA he's a simpleton :p

It's okay because his generation are going to fix all of the worlds problems, just give him a sign and tell him where and when the protest is.

He's just not logically thinking it and looking at the Walkman or the cassette to see what goes where. A trait that seems lacking in a lot of today's youth lol. I'm only in my early 30s and used to have a Walkman before anyone calls me a boomer.

I dont think its unreasonable at all.

Its entirely possible to have nothing but touchscreen, buttons and built in mass storage devices for the past 15 years.

Why would anyone know how to use a tape/cassette?

Worlds changing old man..... time to move on..

:P

You never turn it off.... duh :D
Why would I?
With all the years of working hard and saving hard, I can afford the electric bill... and it's not like I give a toss about the polluted world I'll leave behind for you millenial wastes of space!! :p

Why would anyone know how to use a tape/cassette?
Watching YouTubes on their Smart Mobile i-Telephones and seeing all their playschool mates similarly struggling before the solution is revealed?
Besides, the 80s keeps coming back into fashion - All it takes is one watch of Back To The Future...!

TBH a lot is in the upbringing, etc. which reflects on the parents and grandparents - as much as I laugh at this generation - my nephews for instance had no problem figuring out how to use an old cassette deck, etc. for the first time for themselves (and they were much younger than this kid).

Why are people listening to cassettes again? They were terrible then and they are still terrible now or is it some rubbish about the "warmth" of the analogue sound?

He has problems just getting the tape in

Wait to he needs to find the song on the tape he wants to listen to :D:D:D:D:D:D:D

And am not old am only 50 :p:p:p

Be nice to see what you think of things in 30 years time...

An eye opener for one.

I'm 61 now, but you always feel like you're still 20(ish), so it's still a shock to see how time passes by (what feels like) so quickly.
