Exactly, History is dictated by the people who had personal experience of the event.

As I've said you don't have to have personal experience for it to be significant.

Its relevance that I'm talking about.

War significant? Yes. In the sense that the war has had an effect on my life without me even knowing it existed at 1.

Personally relevant to me? No.
