Italian Grand Prix 2011, Monza Circuit - Race 13/19

Got to say, Button is really putting Hamilton in his place this season.

This is what Button needed to do to get where he is at today in Formula .

I and many others like to call it race/tactic genius. button and MSC are the masters of it. Fully aware of what's happening and can see it unfold in the future.

Indeed. Prost was another, and it won him the drivers title in 1986 in far from the quickest car.

He is hardly "putting him in his place"

Hami is just trying to get everything he can out of an average car.

Precisely my point.

People over-hype Button. Especially given that his Ace card of 'tactics' usually means he's quite a dull person to watch drive.

In relation to this ^^^

Are you try in to say average performance by button and below average performance for Alonso. If so just LOL.

Anyone else fancy filling in 4th to 11th place on the CaptainRAVE scale?

Alonso has done a great job again with poor equipment, just keeping out of trouble and hanging on with tyres that just don't seem to suit the ferrari.

I am a hardcore Hammy fan.

But Button has been the most exciting driver this season so i have to totally disagree with your comment.

If Hammy was to take a few pages out of Buttons book he would be unstoppable.

If Mclaren had a number 1 driver, Button would be it this season.( as much as that hurts me to say :p)

How can winner,2nd,3rd be in relation to that?

Easy. McLaren is (arguably) the second quickest car behind the Red Bull. CaptainRAVE refers to the McLaren as an average car. What does that make the other nine constructors that can't beat the average McLaren?
