He has been lucky that every race someone else is knocked out of Button/Hamilton/Alonso/Webber so they never gain a large amount of points.

Button, Massa & Hamilton: 2 Retirements each
Alonso & Webber: 1 Retirement each

If Button or Hamilton hadn't had those retirements then Vettel wouldn't have such a lead

If you are in the pack then the risks are that much higher. Nothing to do with luck, great car, good driver and doing what he needs to do.

Eddie Jordan talking sense although it would've been nice if he highlighted how good Vettel was in the Toro Rosso. Might've shut some people up if they remembered how high he was finishing in such a poor car while his teammate struggled with 13th and 14th place finishes.

Apart from last time out at Spa when Hamilton crashed out giving him a free pitstop (I remember Brundle saying it).

Nothing has gone against him because he has a decent car. When he has an average car we'll see what he is actually made of.

Hopefully next year we'll see F/Mc/RB have equal cars...

I dunno to be honest.

I just don't get this. It doesn't matter how far you are head and how many years, you always fall. Just look at Ferrari and MSc winning what was it winning all but one race and getting titles easily for multiple years,but they all fall. You can't go on winning indeffintly.
