Alonso lost nearly 1 second in the final sector, where he has been mighty all weekend, sure looks like a car problem to me.

That doesn't mean there wasn't a problem, he may have had problems in the chicane because there was a brake/suspension/tyre/drs/etc/etc problem.

They have had the best car all season, they just spent the first half making stupid mistakes and shooting themselves in the foot.

Button favourite to be first place at the end of lap 3. Tow + DRS means Hamilton has no chance.

I reckon so.

Another DNF from Alonso and Hamilton is right back in this. They would be laughing all their way to the WDC and WCC if not for the number of mistakes at the start of the season :rolleyes:

Well unless he's pulled more than a second on Button by lap 3, which is entirely feasible.

I certainly wouldn't want to be laying money against him pulling that gap.

first 2 laps important to get that 1 second gap.

Well unless Button makes a mistake getting that second lead will be difficult.
