Not doubting that. I'm just commenting on the expectation of fans. I didn't hear monkey chants or see any racist flags though.

It all seemed good natured to me, our stand was mainly Ferrari fans yet they all clapped when Hamilton drove past on the cool down lap.

Yep, I was wondering what the green symbol was, amazing, There were quite a few clearly visible on the tv (sky live)

Ah looking back on my photo of the grid when the podium was on I can see a lot of the white flags with the green symbol :s. I don't recall hearing monkey chants though.

They must have been planning to do that all day as they all seem to have got near the front which takes a special effort. I was about third of the way in the grid after running from the first chicane.

I think it's unfair to tar all the Ferrari fans with the same brush if it was chanting form a minority at the front right next to the microphones.

I couldn't hear anything where I was but then again everyone started chanting 'alon-so'.. Maybe they were trying to cover it up.

I have no idea bout Italian politics, but if they are there to get political exposure then so be it, not really a crime and just a PR stunt by a political party and not F1 fans.

Arknor compared them to BNP or something but wiki seems to suggest they have muslim members etc.

Unfortunately the full ignore plugin doesn't work on Android.

This is a party who distributed a soap labelled "for use after touching an immigrant". I don't think they deserve any political exposure.

To be honest, I don't like where this thread is going, or your attitude to the whole situation. I can't tell if its genuine or of you are just trying to stir an argument, but neither are going to be productive.

You are the guy who said all Spanish are racist right? As i said I have no idea about Italian politics, maybe you do :) Maybe best to take this to Speakers Corner or something if you wish to stir something up, and let's get back to F1.

I think people should read the full facts about party's/ football teams and green symbols before getting all het up. IMO I think the internet is blowing it out of proportion

I'm looking forward to watching the race on tv when I'm back to see how it compares
