Italian Grand Prix 2012, Monza - Race 13/20

I just find it poor, Spa was a lot less exciting because we lost Alonso and Lewis at turn 1, ...

That's exactly how I felt.
The only thing that made it exciting for me, was finding out how many points Vettel would score.

But, you can't blame anyone for that...unfortunately when you have a crash right at the front of the field, these things happen.

I am hoping to see Hamilton, Vettel and Alonso, all race full distances at Monza.

A McLaren 1-2 is possible.
Based on the last 2 races, McLaren seem to currently have the fastest car, so if this holds true at Monza, it is possible.

I'm not sure if Vettel would finish outside the top 5 given that RBR have a pretty terrific car.

Looking forward to this. I will be in the grandstand at my first F1 race. Just need a good prediction for the work F1 league as I'm currently in pole.

I can't help think it will be Alsono with it being Ferrari's home race?

lets hope they get the gearing wrong on atleast one of the cars so we get a nice display again :D

My head hurts with all these silly names :(

i think i've finally got my head around them. i've probably missed a couple but got most of them:

Vettel = Princess Stampyfoot, Vimto
d'Ambrosio = Custard
Hamilton = The Messiah?
Grosjean = Fat John
Raikkonen = Ice (cream) man
Maldonardo = Loldonardo
Alonso = Teflonso
Jenson Button = Jenson Balance
Pat Symonds = Prat Symonds.
Danny Bahar = Danny Bahahahahar
McLaren = McClown
Lotus = Loltus
HRT = Fail

Some of them are bleeding obvious but i figured a list of all of them might help. let me know if i missed any :)

I'm currently sat in our Milan office. Chances are high that I'll be free on Sunday so I'm going to chance my arm at getting a ticket on the gate!

GA areas look pretty rubbish, anyone got any specific tips other than "get there early"?

Report - http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/102299

Seems the track is quite green still, so interesting to see how much quicker they go in FP2 in 45 mins time :)

Do the Merc's have upgrades this week?

one upgrade since about bahrain or something stupid like that , copying the lotus monkey seat last race :rolleyes:

brawn recently came out with maybe they just went the wrong way with the setup like JB did at mclaren LOL

it seems merc are looking everywhere for a magic bullet because they dont have a clue

Hmmm, Mercedes looking pretty good then?

Obviously pinch of salt and all that.

Also Custard has nothing on the Ice Cream Man.

probably fumes although we know there fast n a straight line because they can generate downforce and theres not much drag on the car.

anything they make up on the straights will probably be lost in parabolica come a decent fuel load

Massa to outqualify Alonso tomorrow?:D

Wonder what McLaren can do to reduce that 0.3 difference ( I wonder how much of that is due to "double drs", just out of interest more than anything else)
