High wing is OK when your up front. This year McLaren need a spec they can use to overtake, yet they have kept their relatively high wing levels, which feels a bit odd.
And are all the cars really nowhere near the rev limiter? That's a mistake. This is the highest speed track of the year, the entire set of fixed 8 ratios would be based around an 8th gear that juuuuust tops out under DRS at Monza. If there's headroom left then they have been too conservative with their gears.
I thought they were all running well below the stipulated rev limits just because that's how the engines worked optimally. So in theory they would be geared to hit their theoretical peaks at Monza but that isn't necessarily at the regulation rev limit still...
Edit - a quick read around suggests it's something to do with not making any more power past 12k or so due to fuel flow limits
